Self Determination is possible in South-Africa!

The South-African Government had the mandate from the Constitution, the obligation, responsibility, and opportunity to establish a Self Determination law in South-Africa for the past 22 years. Yet, they could not accomplish this. Now we the people of South Africa should stand up and do it for stability and our future.

ACT 108 of 1996

WHEREAS SECTION 235 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No 108 of 1996), provides that the right of the South African people as a whole to self-determination, as manifested in the Constitution, does not preclude, within the framework of this right, recognition of the notion of the right of self-determination of any community sharing a common culture and language heritage within a territorial entity in the Republic of South Africa or in any other way;

AND WHEREAS SECTION 235 of the Constitution further envisages national legislation for such a notion of self-determination to be implemented;

AND WHEREAS SECTION 237 of the Constitution provides that all constitutional obligations must be performed diligently and without delay;

AND WHEREAS SECTION 30 of the Constitution provides that everyone has the right to use the language and to participate in the cultural life of their choice;

AND WHEREAS SECTION 31 of the Constitution provides that persons belonging to a cultural, religious or linguistic community may not be denied that right, with other members of that community; and to enjoy their culture, practice their religion and use their language; and further to form, join and maintain cultural, religious and linguistic associations and other organs of civil society.
